Father Theo reflects on the first reading cautioning families to be watchful for those who, as St. Paul says, would “pervert the truth” and destroy the institution of the family. You must preach the truth even when it is not comfortable to do so. It is not charitable to remain silent or say “God is Love” while you allow others to pervert the truth and steer the minds of your children and family away from the truth. Protect your family!!
